Is Liberty Pole Rye an Approachable Whiskey?

Liberty Pole Rye Whiskey is an easy entry point into whiskey. It offers friendly flavors that aren’t too bold and are welcoming to a new whiskey drinker.

Is Liberty Pole Rye Whiskey Complex?

Liberty Pole Rye Whiskey has some nice flavors to it and keeps you guessing with each sip. It starts with a sweeter light fruit flavor and then takes a twist into the pepper and spicy notes.

What are Liberty Pole Rye Whiskey’s strongest attributes/flavors?

Liberty Pole Rye Whiskey’s strongest attributes are its light fruit flavors. I look forward to seeing what Liberty Pole does with this line in the future and to see if they can pull out a little more caramel and oak notes as they grow and can allow more time in barrels.

Is Liberty Pole Rye a go-to whiskey?

Liberty Pole Rye Whiskey is a whiskey that I expect to be refined in the coming years. Being a new distillery, the bottles aren’t quite as aged as other ryes on the market.

With that being said, it still drinks quite smoothly and their rye will likely continue to get better as they’re able to age longer in barrels.

They’ve recently expanded and built a new whiskey campus which includes a large rickhouse to store far more barrels than they could at their previous location.

Is Liberty Pole Rye Whiskey priced accurately to its quality?

I think Liberty Pole Rye Whiskey is priced decently for a newer distillery in the market.

They’ve set a price that allows them to make some profit early in their lifecycle and their whiskey is going to continue to improve and deliver more quality the longer the distillery thrives.

Also, I’m excited to see a distillery locally in my area and am happy to support them as often as I can.

It is located within 45 minutes from my house and it’s extremely rare to find a whiskey distillery here in Pennsylvania, let alone one with whiskey at this level.

Conclusion for Liberty Pole Rye Whiskey

As this distillery continues to grow, its whiskey is going to get more depth and complexity as it’s able to age its whiskey longer in the barrel.

I’m looking forward to seeing what Liberty Pole does next.

If you’re interested in checking out my favorite whiskey from the distillery, the Liberty Pole Wheated Bourbon is my favorite and is quite delicious.
