Is Heaven Hill – Grain to Glass Wheated Bourbon an Approachable Whiskey?
Heaven Hill’s Grain to Glass Wheated Bourbon is a very unique whiskey.
The label “Grain to Glass” is absolutely apparent the moment this whiskey hits your mouth.
It is 60.5% ABV so it packs a bit of heat with each sip, so I would recommend this bottle bottle to more experienced whiskey drinkers.
Is Heaven Hill – Grain to Glass Wheated Bourbon Complex?
Heaven Hill’s Grain to Glass Wheated Bourbon is quite complex.
It has a whole litany of flavors that shine through with the wheat grain being front and center.
Since this bottle is non-chill filtered, you are getting the full oily texture of the whiskey which coats your entire mouth the moment you take your first sip.
The second I smelled this glass, I immediately thought of the sugar smacks cereal which also had lovely honey and wheat cereal grain flavors.
Once I took a few sips, the flavors began to shine through even more and I was getting rich wheat flavors, sweet honey and caramel, followed by toasted oak and hints of oaky tannic spice.
The finish is long and rich leaving you with a nice oily mouthfeel and flavors that stick around for at least 30-60 seconds.

Is Heaven Hill – Grain to Glass Wheated Bourbon a go-to whiskey?
This Grain to Glass Wheated Bourbon is a limited release from Heaven Hill so I will likely be saving this bottle for special occasions.
It is one that I will be pulling out when my friends are over and I want to show them an excellent demonstration of a solid wheated bourbon.
Is Heaven Hill – Grain to Glass Wheated Bourbon priced accurately to its quality?
Heaven Hill’s Grain to Glass Wheated Bourbon is definitely worth its price tag.
There aren’t many wheated bourbons that really stand out to me and this bottle exemplifies a true representation of the wheat grain in all its glory.
