Is Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch an Approachable Whiskey?
Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch is a big and bold bourbon.
It has a lot of your traditional bourbon flavors, but it is extremely hot and spicy (even more so than normal Booker’s).
This is not a whiskey for beginners.
Is Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch Complex?
Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch has some very intense levels of flavor, but they are not all the deep.
You get your usual rich caramel, vanilla, heavy oak, brown sugar, and peppery spice but not as many layers of flavor as some other bottles from Booker’s.
What are Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch’s strongest attributes/flavors?
Booker’s Might Fine Batch has heavy traditional bourbon flavors with rich caramel, vanilla, and heavy oak.
In addition, it has a very rich peppery spice that is quite powerful.
Is Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch a go-to whiskey?
Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch is quite strong and is one I would reserve for special occasions.
It’s quite bold and is a whiskey that will be too strong for most.
This is a bottle you pour in the winter weather when you need a bit of warmth and heat with a nice long Kentucky hug.
Is Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch priced accurately to its quality?
Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch is a little pricey at the $99 price point, but it offers one of the boldest barrel-strength bourbons you can find on the market.
It’s usually worth the purchase as long as you’re a fan of big and heavy bourbons.
This one in particular will be worth it for you if you enjoy a spicy and powerful bourbon that is packed with a ton of flavor and spice
Conclusion for Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch
Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch is a little hot for my tastes, but it does have very nice and rich flavors.
This is a pour I will add a little water into to help mellow out the spice and heat.
I prefer the other batches this year like Booker’s Apprentice Batch and Booker’s Charlie’s Batch a bit more than this one.
My overall favorite is still the Booker’s Lumberyard Batch which was absolutely delicious.
If you’re a fan of big and bold bourbons, Booker’s is one of the top bottles you can buy.
They release 4 editions per year so it’s always worth picking up a bottle and trying it out if you find one on the shelves.
They’re starting to get a little harder to find and come in very nice wooden boxes and always look nice behind your bar.
