Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Peanut Butter Sandwich – It’s actually kind of crazy how much this smells like a peanut butter sandwich…only sweeter. Still has a tiny bit of alcohol smell if you really get your nose in there.
Palate: Sweet, sugary, peanut butter. The best way to explain how this tastes is to imagine that you are drinking a peanut butter-infused simple syrup. It has a thicker syrupy mouthfeel and really captures the essence of peanut butter.
Finish: Smooth easy finish with no alcohol burn at all
On the inside of the label, as you look through the bottle and whiskey, it defines Skrewball as:
“An individual who is not afraid to stray from the cliche things in life. A black sheep. One who has the courage to stand alone, but rarely does because their unique spirit attracts an open-minded krew. Skrewballs live life like no one is watching and fun follows them wherever they go.“
And as a play on the classic Apple motto, the front label says, “To the misfits, black sheep, and skrewballs”
Is Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey an Approachable Whiskey?
Skrewball Peanut Butter whiskey is kind of like a novelty whiskey to have at a party for people who don’t enjoy regular whiskey.
It tastes just like peanut butter so you can easily drink it straight as a shot and nearly everyone would enjoy it.
On top of that, it makes an excellent mixer for some unique cocktail recipes.

Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey does one thing well and that is Peanut Butter.
You aren’t really getting any other flavors here.
Is Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey a go-to whiskey?
Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey is extremely easy to drink and has a decent proof point to it for how simple it is to drink.
If you can find a killer cocktail to make that involves peanut butter or you just like shots of peanut butter every now and then, then this could be a bottle you’d purchase regularly.
Is Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey priced accurately to its quality?
Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey is priced fairly well for what it delivers.
While it’s not really a whiskey I would drink on a regular basis, every time I’ve ever had friends over and offered them a taste, not a single one has turned it down or complained about it so it’s easily been worth the $35 for me.
Conclusion for Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey
Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey was a pleasant surprise to me.
I bought it just because I thought it was a bit wacky and I liked that they took the approach of being a black sheep and used the Apple tagline parody about being a misfit.
The marketing worked and I was pleasantly pleased with my purchase.
I don’t always know what to do with this bottle, but as mentioned earlier, it’s always a hit when I have guests over so that’s worth it right there.
