Is Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey an Approachable Whiskey?

Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey is one of my least favorite whiskeys I’ve reviewed.

The first time I tried this whiskey, I was doing a blind competition with my friend Chuck and when we both got to the Rogue Dead Guy, we agreed there was just something wrong with this one.

It reminds me almost of rubber and bad popcorn butter at the movie theater.

This was the original bottle when we tasted it and the new version is a bit better, but still not good at all.

Is Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey Complex?

Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey seems to be missing base flavors that most would want in a whiskey.

Their beers are really good, but they’ve got a lot of work to do on their whiskey.

What are Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey’s strongest attributes/flavors?

Rogue Dead Guy whiskey doesn’t seem to have any good qualities to me.

There aren’t many whiskeys I really don’t enjoy, but this is one of them.

Is Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey priced accurately to its quality?

Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey is quite pricey in general, let alone for the quality it offers.

I definitely do not think this bottle is worth its price tag.

I’d rather buy a $20 bottle of Evan Williams or Old Forester.

Conclusion for Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey

Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey is one of the worst whiskeys I have tasted.

I’m not quite sure what they were going for with this one, but I don’t recommend buying it.
