Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack Tasting Notes?

Appearance: Light Hay

Nose: Cinnamon, spice, apple cider, winter spice, orange citrus, clove, warm apple crisp dessert

Palate: Apple cider, cinnamon, citrus notes, reminds me of a warm apple crisp dessert or apple pie

Finish: Smooth and easy with no burn at all – a bit thinner than I expected, but that can be a good thing if you are drinking this warm or in a cocktail

Is Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack Approachable?

Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack is extremely easy to drink and tastes like a dessert liqueur.

I am reviewing this the day after Halloween and Jack Daniel’s doesn’t miss a beat by having it on the shelf the first day of November.

Everyone is now in the mood for the holidays and ready for warm apple pie on cold winter days.

Is Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack Complex?

Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack surprisingly does have a bit of complexity to it.

Rather than just being your standard apple liqueur, this bottle does have whiskey flavor notes in it.

Although, unlike Jack Daniel’s Apple which tastes just like a delicious apple Jolly Rancher, this pour is a very light and easy-to-drink apple cider with whiskey flavors alongside cinnamon, spice, and reminds me of eating a nice piece of apple pie.

What are Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack’s strongest attributes/flavors?

Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack’s strongest attribute is that it is a spiced alcoholic beverage that is perfect for holiday parties.

You can drink this warm in a glass or mix it with tea or apple cider and it mixes perfectly to add a little kick to your office party or Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers.

It also could go over quite well as a dessert pour after dinner.

Is Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack a go-to whiskey?

Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack isn’t really a whiskey.

While it does have Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey in it, this is more like a dessert liqueur.

Is Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack priced accurately to its quality?

Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack is quite cheap at $17 per bottle.

I think Jack Daniel’s has the right price on this bottle to be purchased as a gift on your way to a holiday party or if you’re looking for a bottle of alcohol for someone who doesn’t usually drink whiskey neat.

Overall Conclusion on Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack Whiskey

Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack whiskey probably isn’t a bottle I would purchase again, mostly because I would just rather drink a pour of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Barrel Proof, but then again… I’m a fan of big and bold strong whiskeys.

If you’re looking for a nice bottle for someone who isn’t looking for a full whiskey flavor profile, this is an excellent option for a party gift.

It is also a fun choice for anyone who enjoys tea, or apple cider, or anyone looking to add a little kick to their holiday spice cocktails.
