Is Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Approachable?

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey goes down incredibly smooth. It reminds me of drinking sweet tea with honey when I’m sick or on a cold winter day.

Is Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Complex?

While Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey isn’t particularly complex or even technically a whiskey for that matter, it does offer exactly what its name advertises – honey! Its bottle labels it as a “Honey Liqueur blended with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey” which is precisely what you can expect from this bottle. Rather than expecting a whiskey, expect a honey liqueur.

What are Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey’s strongest attributes/flavors?

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey’s strongest attribute is that it actually nails the honey flavor and offers a smooth and tasty whiskey that almost anyone will enjoy.

Is Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey a go-to whiskey?

While this wouldn’t be my particular go-to whiskey of choice, I could see someone adding a bit of this to their tea on the regular to sweeten up their morning routine.

Is Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey priced accurately to its quality?

At the $50 price point, I think Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey is a bit overpriced. If this bottle were $25-30 I would easily recommend it to anyone looking for a whiskey that doesn’t taste at all like a normal whiskey.

However, since it’s not that price point, I would only recommend buying Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey if you are looking for a true honey flavor for tea or a cocktail that calls for a honey flavor.

Overall Conclusion on Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey is quite delicious. I’m very impressed with the amount of honey flavor they have packed into this bottle and for still being 35% ABV, it goes down incredibly smooth.

I hope you enjoyed this tasting experience with me.

* Fun Fact – The reason I first discovered this whiskey was when I went to a friend’s Halloween party dressed as Winnie the Pooh. What better bottle to bring with Winnie the Pooh to celebrate the occasion?
