Is Glenmorangie Original Approachable?

It has a bit of a bite, so non-whiskey drinkers may feel a slight burn on the first sip. It has a clean but quick finish and the heat subsides right away.

Is Glenmorangie Complex?

Glenmorangie Original 10-Year-Old Whiskey is not particularly complex. It has a pleasant citrus flavor with hints of toffee and vanilla, but overall it is fairly one-dimensional. It’s easy to drink and goes down easy which is a plus.

How Does Glenmorangie Smell?

I rather enjoyed the smell of this Glenmorangie. It’s got a light citrus aroma with a sweet toffee or caramel scent that enhances the more you smell it. It finishes with a clean vanilla twist.

What are Glenmorangie’s strongest attributes/flavors?

Intially, I get strong citrus flavors – oranges, peaches, and a bit of dried apricot. It then turns with a hint of toffee or caramel with a bit of a vanilla twist.

Is Glenmorangie a go-to whiskey?

Glenmorangie Original 10-Year-Old Whisky is a very easy whiskey to drink. It goes down smoothly but lacks the character I would expect when considering it as a go-to whiskey. This would be a great whiskey to share with friends on a cool summer day. It’s refreshing and light and almost everyone should be able to appreciate and enjoy its flavors.

Is Glenmorangie priced accurately to its quality?

At the $40 price range, Glenmorangie Original 10-year-old Whiskey is accurately priced to its quality. On the cheaper end of Scotch prices, it offers an experience that is on point with this price point. If you’re looking for a nice bottle of Scotch at a lower-end price, Glenmorangie would be a good choice.
