Glenmorangie 14 Year Quinta Ruban is an extremely approachable whisky.
It is full of rich, heavy fruit flavors that completely explode on each sip.
It drinks very smoothly despite being non-chill filtered and leaves you with a lovely mouthfeel.
Is Glenmorangie 14 Quinta Ruban Complex?
Glenmorangie 14 Year – The Quinta Ruban is very complex and full of many layers of flavor.
On the nose, you get an immediate blast of fresh fruit full of so many fruit notes that I can’t even pinpoint them all.
Then on the palate, you are met with just as much fruit, but layered with oak, vanilla, clove, and slight tobacco notes.
Then it finishes out with a very deep finish and a rewarding buttery mouthfeel thanks to the non-chill filtering.
What are Glenmorangie 14 Quinta Ruban’s strongest attributes/flavors?
Glenmorangie 14 Year’s strongest attribute is absolutely its level of fruit flavors.
I cannot think of many whiskies that deliver such a nice fruit-forward flavor profile while still delivering a full-bodied finish.
Is Glenmorangie 14 Quinta Ruban a go-to whisky?
Glenmorangie 14 Year – The Quinta Ruban is absolutely a go-to whisky.
While it is a little pricier than your standard Glenmorangie 10 Year, it is absolutely worth the additional $20.
I could drink this every day for sure.

Glenmorangie 14 Year definitely delivers on its price tag.
For $70, you get a bottle that I would expect to cost $100 and I’d still be happy even with that price.

Glenmorangie 14 Year – The Quinta Ruban is an excellent buy for its price.
It is absolutely jam-packed with rich fruit notes that I don’t find often in many Scotch whiskies.
On top of that, it is non-chill filtered which gives it an incredibly rich and buttery mouthfeel that really enhances the experience.
