Is Booker’s Pinkie’s Batch an Approachable Whiskey?

Booker’s Pinkie’s Batch is a blast and a half.

This pour will shock your taste buds and your entire mouth for that matter.

It’s extremely powerful with its non-chill filtered 61.2% ABV.

This is not a whiskey for beginners.

Is Booker’s Pinkie’s Batch Complex?

Booker’s Pinkie’s Batch has a few layers of flavors.

While it is not as complex and deep as some of the other Booker’s batches, it does still have a lot of the characteristics Booker’s is known for.

The nose is packed full of oak, caramel, vanilla, and citrus but also foreshadows the amount of rye spice and pepper you’ll be feeling as you take your first sip.

Once the whiskey hits your palate, every taste bud in your mouth is going to be firing on all cylinders.

I get mostly oak and caramel on this batch, but it does have layers of baking spice, cinnamon, vanilla, fruit, and citrus zest mixed in there.

What are Booker’s Pinkie’s Batch’s strongest attributes/flavors?

Pinkie’s Batch is heavy on oak and caramel.

Is Booker’s Pinkie’s Batch a go-to whiskey?

Booker’s Pinkie’s Batch is pretty hard to come by, so I do reserve this one for special occasions.

Is Booker’s Pinkie’s Batch priced accurately to its quality?

Booker’s Pinkie’s Batch is worth its price tag for the amount of oak and caramel packed into this one, but only if you’re a whiskey drinker that can handle a ton of heat and appreciate a heavy mouthfeel on the finish.

Conclusion for Booker’s Pinkie’s Batch

I’m always a fan of Booker’s and this Pinkie’s Batch is no different.

With that being said, I was more of a fan of Booker’s Lumberyard Batch and Booker’s Beaten Biscuits.

Booker’s is always a bottle I will pick up when I see it on the shelf because it hasn’t disappointed me yet.
