Is Booker’s Beaten Biscuits an Approachable Whiskey?

Booker’s Beaten Biscuits is big and bold. With its 63.05% ABV, this is not a whiskey for beginners!

Is Booker’s Beaten Biscuits Complex?

Booker’s Beaten Biscuits has a lot of complexity in its flavors.

The nose comes off as sweet, caramel, oak, and a bit of fruit and spice with a light hint of cinnamon.

On the palate, you are hit with big and bold flavors with quite a bit of heat from the non-chill filtered, high-proof whiskey.

Right away, you’ll feel the powerful caramel, oak, rye spice, and pepper blast on your taste buds.

As the intensity subsides, you’ll notice some fruits and citrus zest followed by bits of baking spice, cinnamon, and vanilla.

The finish is long and heavy. Your mouth will be coated with a nice oily mouthfeel (and heat) for a very long time.

What are Booker’s Beaten Biscuits’ strongest attributes/flavors?

I’m a fan of big and bold whiskeys, so Booker’s Beaten Biscuits’ Batch is right up my alley.

I love the massive amount of flavor in each sip.

The heavy mouthfeel and heat are not a deterrent and are one of my favorite qualities in each bottle of Booker’s whiskey.

Is Booker’s Beaten Biscuits a go-to whiskey?

Booker’s is a limited edition bottle that is only released four times per year.

This particular Beaten Biscuits batch was bottled in the fourth quarter of 2019 and is a real treat that I will be saving for special occasions.

Is Booker’s Beaten Biscuits priced accurately to its quality?

Booker’s is a bit of a pricy bottle at $99, but I think it delivers on its price tag.

They are one of the few bottles I purchase on every release of a new batch.

If you’re a fan of big and bold whiskeys that pack a ton of flavor, Booker’s is definitely worth its price tag.

Conclusion for Booker’s Beaten Biscuits

Booker’s Beaten Biscuits is an excellent whiskey.

The complexity of flavors packed into this bottle is quite enjoyable.

This bottle is likely hard to find by now since I am reviewing it 4 years after its release, but if you have a chance to get a pour of this one, I suggest giving it a shot!
