Tullamore Dew Cider Cask is very easy to drink. It goes down smoothly and has little to no burn and has a bit of sweetness to it.
This would be a great whiskey for a beginner to try.

Tullamore Dew Cider Cask does not have many layers of flavor. You get the sweet honey and butterscotch flavors followed up by light citrus fruits like apples and lemon-lime.

Is Tullamore Dew – Cider Cask a go-to whisky?
Tullamore Dew is a whiskey that I use regularly in my Irish Coffee cocktails. They are probably the #1 request I get for cocktails when I have guests over and they are absolutely delicious.
I do prefer the standard Tullamore Dew to the Cider Cask Finish, but this one would add a little bit of a twist to my normal Irish Coffee.

Tullamore Dew – Cider Cask is priced fairly well for its quality. At the $30 price point, you get a smooth whiskey that goes down easy and offers some light fruit flavors that would go well in tea or coffee.

Tullamore Dew isn’t generally a whiskey that I drink neat, but it can go extremely well in cocktails.
I would recommend purchasing the standard Tullamore Dew over this Cider Cask Finish, but if you want to have a bit of the apple cider notes, feel free to pick this one up and give it a shot.
