The finish is pretty solid and leaves you with a nice charred oak and caramel flavor with quite a bit of pepper and spice on the tail end. It also has a bit of leather and tobacco that linger with the bottom of the glass.

This bottle is one of the better deals on the shelf at the mid-tier bourbon price range.
I also really enjoy the Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel if you happen to find it on the shelves. It’s a little harder to get, but I enjoy it more than the 10 Year even if it’s a bit more pricey.
