What are Macallan Harmony Collection – Intense Arabica’s strongest attributes/flavors?

This special edition Macallan has a very bold, complex flavor profile. On the nose, you get strong caramel and toffee, but also dark fruits, plums, and spices.

The flavor profile has a lot going on – mostly due to the bold caramel and chocolate flavors, but also heavy spices. At first, we tasted cinnamon and pepper and it finished with a bit of clove or anis notes. We did not really get the coffee flavors the packaging advertised, but it does contain dark chocolate and sweet oak.

How does Macallan Harmony Collection – Intense Arabica stack up against other Macallan bottles?

This bottle of Macallan is a lot more complex and bold than your standard Macallan bottle. This intense arabica edition definitely gives an extra kick of flavor that stands out and leaves you with a pleasant finish after each sip.

Is Macallan Harmony Collection – Intense Arabica Worth The Extra Money?

Macallan Harmony Arabica has more complexity than your standard Macallan. It is worth the extra money if you are an experienced whiskey drinker. The level of flavor is much more than you’d get for a $70 bottle and the boldness is a strong feature of this one.

If you’ve got the extra money and are looking for a unique blend of flavors, the Macallan Harmony Collection – Intense Arabica edition will make a nice addition to your bar.
