Nose: Maple Syrup… like you just lifted a plate of home-cooked pancakes to your nose and sniffed the fresh maple syrup
Palate: Maple syrup all day. While you still get a bit of caramel, oak, vanilla, and a bit of brown sugar, this is maple syrup through and through.
Finish: Smooth easy finish that goes down without a hint of heat

Knob Creek Smoked Maple is one of the most approachable whiskeys I have ever tasted.
I’ve had many “flavored” whiskeys, but this bottle of Smoked Maple Knob Creek is easily the best flavored whiskey I’ve ever had.
Is Knob Creek Smoked Maple Bourbon Complex?
Knob Creek Smoked Maple has a few layers of flavors.
The first flavor you get on each sip is a big and bold maple syrup flavor.
But behind the maple syrup, you still get the caramel and toasted oak notes that you would get from the Knob Creek whiskey aged 9 years.
What’s interesting about this whiskey is that the flavor is not injected into the whiskey as an added secondary flavor.
Booker Noe enjoyed pairing his whiskey with maple syrup and smoked meats and the origin of the Knob Creek Smoked Maple line came from that pairing.
This bottle is your standard Knob Creek 9 Year Bourbon which is then infused with actual maple syrup to give it a real maple syrup flavor profile.
