Jack Daniel’s Apple Tasting Notes?
Appearance: Golden Honey
Nose: Apple Jolly Rancher. Also, cinnamon apple pie.
Palate: Crisp green apple, not as much Apple Jolly Rancher flavor on the palate, but more of a whiskey infused with Jolly Ranchers. Surprisingly, this still does taste like a whiskey and is full of caramel, toasted oak, vanilla, and a bit of spice with a solid layer of refreshing apple flavor on top.
Finish: Nice smooth finish with no burn and lots of natural apple flavor
Is Jack Daniel’s Apple Approachable?
Jack Daniel’s Apple is very approachable and extremely easy to drink.
This is a bottle that you would purchase for a fun gift at a party where people will be doing flavored shots and making cocktails.
Is Jack Daniel’s Apple Complex?
Jack Daniel’s Apple isn’t particularly complex, but it does exactly what it advertises.
It does still have a solid whiskey base and is not just the flavored liqueurs you will find on the shelf.
This truly is a whiskey that has apple flavor infused into the bottle.
What are Jack Daniel’s Apple’s strongest attributes/flavors?
Apple. And more specifically, the smell of this whiskey is almost exactly like a Green Apple Jolly Rancher with a slight hint of cinnamon spice.
Is Jack Daniel’s Apple a go-to whiskey?
Jack Daniel’s Apple is a whiskey that you would take to a party or use to make creative apple-infused cocktails.
While I could easily sip on this pour with no issues at all, it is more similar to a liqueur than a whiskey if sipped on neat.
Is Jack Daniel’s Apple priced accurately to its quality?
Jack Daniel’s Apple delivers on its $25 price tag.
If you’re looking for a flavored whiskey, this bottle delivers.
Overall Conclusion on Jack Daniel’s Apple Whiskey
I don’t generally drink flavored whiskeys, but I do enjoy tasting and reviewing them.
This bottle of Jack Daniel’s Apple whiskey is quite delicious.
I don’t know what I would make with this, but I will probably try to make a riff on an apple martini and see if I can come up with a nice whiskey version of the cocktail.
So keep an eye out for that recipe in the future.
If you’re a fan of sweet drinks or you are looking for a nice bottle to have for shots at your next party, Jack Daniel’s Apple is a great option.
