Green Spot is a bold Irish Whiskey.

It is packed with a ton of flavors and full of oak spice, honey sweetness, and fruit notes.

This whiskey will likely be a bit much for beginners, but experienced whiskey drinkers will enjoy it.

Is Green Spot Complex?

Green Spot is a bit complex and has a nice level of depth and flavor.

It still has the sweet honey and fruit notes of an Irish whiskey, but it really picks up a lot of flavor from the American Oak barrels which give it a nice oaky spice and rich flavor.

Green Spot’s strongest attribute is that it really accentuates the sweet and fruit flavors of an Irish Whiskey while also capturing the oaky spice flavors of a bourbon barrel.

Is Green Spot a go-to whiskey?

Green Spot could easily be a go-to whiskey.

While it does cost $70, it packs an amount of flavor that is quite enjoyable and I could see myself drinking often.

Is Green Spot priced accurately to its quality?

Green Spot delivers right around its price tag.

I would be a lot more likely to recommend this bottle if it were in the $50-60 price range, but it does still deliver even in the $70 range.

Conclusion for Green Spot

The main reason I think this bottle delivers on the $70 price range is that it really has a lovely finish.

With every sip, you are left with a nice buttery and oily mouthfeel that sticks around for a very long time.

Most Irish Whiskey is light and fruity, whereas this one is bold and heavy in flavor with a very rich finish.

If you’re interested in trying an Irish Whiskey that isn’t quite so sweet as you’re used to, I’d recommend giving this one a shot.
