Glenlivet 14 Year is quite approachable. It’s very easy to drink and offers sweet and smooth toffee and vanilla flavors mixed with the dark fruit flavors from the cognac casks.
Is Glenlivet 14 Year Complex?
Glenlivet 14 Year does have a bit of complexity. It starts off with a nice sweet flavor profile of sugary toffee and vanilla followed by rich cherry and raisin. The flavors remind me of Raisinets – chocolate-covered raisins. Raisinets are one of dad’s favorite candies to get when we go to the movie theater.

This bottle is an excellent option to take to a nice dinner party with friends or even just a night alone when you want a comforting glass of whisky.
