Nose: Sweet honey, raisin, light fruits, crisp green apple, vanilla, rye bread, malt
Palate: Light fruits, crisp apple, dried apricot, vanilla, lightly toasted oak, pepper, spice, barley
Finish: Medium finish that lingers with an oily mouthfeel for a while – leaves you with a fruit, honey/toffee, toasted oak, vanilla, and a really nice pepper spice on the tail end

It’s smooth to drink but also packs quite a bit of flavors that are not one dimensional.
This is a great Scotch whisky that both beginners and experienced whisky drinkers will enjoy.

It starts with a bold fruit profile upfront followed by a nice sweet honey and toffee flavor.
It then turns into a bit of oak and vanilla with a pepper and spice finish.
It really hits all the flavor areas of my palate and I find it quite enjoyable.

Glen Moray is an excellent Scotch whisky if you’re looking for a bottle under $50.
This is one that could easily just sit back and enjoy a few glasses without feeling like I’m breaking the bank.
It’s also a great Scotch if you’re looking to have a party and want to serve some nice whisky but don’t necessarily feel like breaking out your best stuff.
