Appearance: Dark Honey
Nose: Peach – Lots of beautiful peaches – reminds me of peach iced tea but has nice caramel, vanilla, and oak undertones
Palate: Caramelized, sugary peaches – the flavor has more whisky notes than the nose with light oak, vanilla, and a tiny bit of spice on the tail end
Finish: Rich, sugary finish that leaves you with a caramelized peach flavor that tasted even better than it smells.
Where Does Crown Royal Peach Whisky Get Its Fruit Flavor?
The peach flavor in Crown Royal Peach comes from carefully selected Crown Royal whiskies that are infused with the juicy flavor of fresh Georgia peaches.
Here is the description from the limited edition box:
“To create this extraordinary blend, Crown Royal whiskies are carefully selected by our master blender and infused with the juicy flavor of fresh Georgia peaches. Our peaches are harvested to capture their ripe succulence. Once picked, the peaches are de-stoned, pressed and strained to preserve their bright, aromatic flavor.”
As much as Crown Royal claims to have captured their peaches’ “ripe succulence”, I can’t even argue because the whisky truly does taste like it is infused with the most delicious Georgia peaches.
Also, it comes in a nice box and traditional Crown Royal bag – but orange!
Is Crown Royal Peach Whisky an Approachable Whiskey?
Crown Royal Peach is extremely approachable.
This is a pour that you could serve to pretty much anyone and they will like it (so long as they like peaches).
I’m a big fan of peaches in general, so I really enjoy this pour even though I usually wouldn’t classify this as whisky. It feels more like a liqueur to me.
Is Crown Royal Peach Whisky Complex?
Crown Royal Peach is not particularly complex and offers one flavor – peaches.
Go figure.

Peach. Crown Royal Peach offers the best peach flavors you can find in alcohol.
Is Crown Royal Peach a go-to whiskey?
Oddly enough, Crown Royal Peach is extremely delicious and very easy to drink so it could easily be a go-to pour.
Is it truly a whiskey? This bottle is less than 40% ABV so I wouldn’t technically call it a whiskey, but it sure is damn delicious.
Is Crown Royal Peach Whisky priced accurately to its quality?
Crown Royal Peach is priced well for its quality.
If you’re in the liquor store and you are choosing to purchase a peach whiskey, you probably already know what you’re getting into.

Crown Royal Peach is surprisingly delicious.
It’s a step up from your syrupy and sugary Peach Schnapps and delivers a well-balanced peach flavor layered on top of a solid whiskey base.
If you’re looking for a fruity alternative for your guests that say they don’t enjoy whiskey, this is an excellent choice.
In addition, I’d guess that even your whiskey friends will have no problem taking a pour of this one.
