Heaven Hill 7 Year Bottled-In-Bond bourbon is a nicely balanced whiskey that is easy to drink.

It does have a little bit of heat on it, but the amount of flavor outweighs this.

Is Heaven Hill 7 Year Complex?

Heaven Hill has all the traditional flavors you would expect from a well-balanced bourbon.

It’s loaded with buttery caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, and just enough oak to really spice things up a bit.

It also has a nice finish without being too overpowering. I like the amount of heat on the finish because it really is outweighed by the nice oily mouthfeel and flavor it leaves you with.

Heaven Hill 7 Year offers everything you could want in a 100-proof bourbon for $50.

Is Heaven Hill 7 Year a go-to whiskey?

Heaven Hill 7 Year could easily be a go-to whiskey if it were easier to find. The price point is a little high for bourbon, but it does offer a bit of flavor over many of its competitors in the price range.

Is Heaven Hill 7 Year priced accurately to its quality?

Heaven Hill 7 Year delivers on its price tag.

I feel like you get $50 worth out of this bottle and if you’re a fan of the traditional bourbon flavors, this is probably one you’re really going to enjoy.

Would I pay $70-80 for this one?

Probably not. But as of right now, it’s sitting currently right in a nice sweet spot for me.

Conclusion for Heaven Hill 7 Year Bottled-In-Bond Bourbon

I had always heard of Heaven Hill 7 Year and the reviews I had read were always pretty mixed.

Some said there was too much heat, others thought it was overpriced, and some thought it was a great deal.

After finally finding it in my area of Pennsylvania for once, I’m glad I got a chance to try this one for myself and give it an honest try.

I am a fan.

I mentioned that it does a slight bit of heat on the finish, but I will gladly invite that to have a nice buttery mouthfeel full of all my favorite bourbon flavors.

So while this bottle doesn’t stray too far from the tried and true bourbon formula, it delivers a pour that exceeds most other bourbons in the price range.
