I love whiskey, and I love the outdoors.
Oftentimes, I find that whiskey and the outdoors go really well together. The best way to combine the two is with a flask.
Over the years, I have owned a handful of flasks of various sizes and qualities. They all held whiskey. They could all fit in your jacket or back pocket and of course you could drink from them.
So what is wrong with that?
Well, nothing really.
They all did what they were supposed to do, but to me, something was missing.
None of those flasks felt like “my” flask.
I wanted something that was special, something that was honorable enough to carry its contents admirably.
In my quest for such a product, I came across a US company called Jacob Bromwell. I admired the way that they looked, and appreciated that they were handmade.
I bought the Offset Vermonter about 2 years ago and it is wonderful.
It has aged well and I always get a nod while it’s being passed around the fire.
To me, this is my flask.
