Is Bradshaw Bourbon Review an Approachable Whiskey?

Bradshaw bourbon is an easy whiskey to drink. It’s got some sweet flavors on the nose and the initial sip, but then the flavor takes a nice twist and starts to deliver a bit more of a spicy kick. It’s a whiskey that will pack a little bit of heat for a beginner whiskey drinker with a 51.9% ABV, but nothing too strong that they wouldn’t appreciate it.

Is Bradshaw Bourbon Review Complex?

Bradshaw Bourbon has a few layers to it. On the nose, you get a lot of sweet honey, caramel, and toasted oak notes. Then your first sip gives you a little hint of those same notes before it morphs into a spicier flavor profile that really brings through all the rye spices and heat.

It’s a pretty easy whiskey to drink, but that twist of flavors makes it quite enjoyable and steps it up from your lower-level bourbons, especially if you like rye whiskey.

Is Bradshaw Bourbon Review a go-to whiskey?

I could see Bradshaw Bourbon being a go-to whiskey by how easy it is to drink, but with the $45 price tag, I would likely gravitate toward other options like Elijah Craig, Old Forester, or Wild Turkey Rare Breed.

Is Bradshaw Bourbon Review priced accurately to its quality?

I think if you find Bradshaw Bourbon for $45, you won’t be disappointed with what you get. It delivers on the price tag and brings you a unique whiskey that stands its ground.

Conclusion for Bradshaw Bourbon Review

I had an idea of what to expect with this whiskey because earlier in the year, I attended a blind-tasting event with Fred Minnick. Of the 5 whiskeys, Bradshaw Bourbon held its own again Woodford Reserve, Knob Creek, Makers Mark, and Bulleit.

Also, being a Pittsburgh guy, I had to give this bottle a shot regardless of its price tag. Terry Bradshaw led the Pittsburgh Steelers to four Super Bowl wins in the 1970s and is a football legend here.

So when I saw the bottle on the shelf, I just picked it up right away.

And Bradshaw Bourbon is a tasty whiskey. For it being a brand new product (mine was batch 1), it really delivered. I definitely look forward to seeing more of what this line offers in the future.

I have also written a full Bradshaw Rye Whiskey Review which is the only other bottle available from Bradshaw right now.

If you see this bottle on the shelf and are looking for a bourbon with a little kick, definitely give it a shot.
