Old Forester 1910 has some very nice flavors to it. While not incredibly complex, it has all the flavors you want in a bourbon. It has a lovely nose with sweet and buttery caramel notes. The flavors deliver much of the same and expand a bit more on the sweet, caramel, and brown sugar flavors with a touch of oak and vanilla. Then it finished up with a bit of rye spice on the finish.

Is Old Forester 1910 priced accurately to its quality?
Old Forester 1910 is priced at a point where I feel like I got enough value out of the bottle. Do I wish it were $40 instead of $50?
Yes, absolutely.
What I have found though is that while there are plenty of whiskeys available in the $25-35 price range, they do not have the smoothness and refined qualities of Old Forester 1910 and that is why I think the price is justified for this bottle.
